The United States Agency for International Development in Jordan (USAID/Jordan), intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a five-year, cost plus fixed fee completion type contract for the “Water Governance Activity”. The Water Governance Activity will complement USAID/Jordan’s infrastructure and construction activities by providing support to the Government of Jordan, specifically the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and water utilities, to improve accountable, sustainable, water sector management and governance through technical assistance and capacity building. USAID intends to use full and open competition for this procurement. The solicitation will be released in approximately two weeks from the date of posting this synopsis, and will be made available electronically upon its release to https://beta.sam.gov/. Prospective Offerors are advised that this procurement is subject to internal USAID approvals and the availability of funds. This notice in no way obligates the US Government to issue an RFP and/or award a contract. This notice satisfies the synopsis requirement in FAR 5.2. If a solicitation is issued, all necessary information will be supplied at the time it is posted at beta.sam.gov. Questions/requests for information will not be responded to until RFP issuance. Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor the aforementioned website and solicitation number for updates concerning this procurement.
