The United States Government represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) hereby issues a draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the proposed Energy Policy 2 Activity in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH). The purpose of this Activity is to accelerate the sustainable development of the energy sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). This will be achieved by enabling a smooth transition to clean energy and ensuring energy security for BiH. This draft SOW is distributed for industry comments on the content of the attached document. To assist in the efficiency of this process, please consider the following in preparation of your comments: - Ensure comments are concise and specific to information included within the draft SOW; - Ensure submitted comments make specific reference to page and section numbers. - USAID does not seek questions at this time, only comments. Comments are to be sent via e-mail to the individual specified under this notice as the primary point of contact. Due date for submission of comments is February 22, 2024, 16:00 CET. Please reference opportunity number 72016824R00001 in the subject of your e-mail. No phone calls will be accepted. Please do not consider this request for comments as an RFP and do not submit your proposals until the formal RFP is posted to sam.gov. This notice does not obligate USAID to release a solicitation or award a contract, nor does it commit the government to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of comments. This notice satisfies the synopsis requirement in FAR 5.2. If a solicitation is issued, all necessary information will be supplied at the time it is posted at www.sam.gov, and information may be different than what is noted above. Questions/requests for information will not be responded to until RFP issuance.
