This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) / Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). This is NOT a solicitation for work or a request for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations, and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of USAID. Interested organizations may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements described in this SSN/RFI by responding to the questions outlined in the attached notice. Responses to this SSN/RFI are strictly voluntary and USAID will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this SSN/RFI. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research to gauge the interest and capabilities of industry. The United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) is conducting market research to gauge industry interest in the Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS NET) 8 Decision Support project. The goal of the FEWS NET 8 Decision Support project is to support USAID’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), the wider Agency, the USG, and partner countries to make evidence-based decisions regarding the prioritization of humanitarian aid due to acute food insecurity. The services to be provided by the Contractor seek to ensure that USAID/BHA has the requisite food security and climate related decision support to ensure timely, efficient, and appropriate humanitarian assistance. Note: USAID anticipates competing the FEWS NET 8 Decision Support project under the General Services Administration's (GSA) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Tier 3, Best-in-Class, Pool 1 services. USAID has not yet determined which Pool 1 IDIQ will be utilized however encourages interested parties to factor this information into their planning considerations.
