The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking input from interested parties in response to the proposed activity approach in the subject draft SOW under the proposed GHRC Mechanism. The purpose of this RFI is to collect written information about industry’s capacity to implement an activity with the preliminary title of “Global Health Risk and Capacity (GHRC).” Entities should consider submitting responses to the RFI if they have the capacity to build and manage a large global award or capacity to contribute to such an award as a subcontractor to deliver on USAID’s objectives contained in Attachment 2. Please note the following: This RFI is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) and in no way commits USAID to issue an RFP or to make an award. Responding to this RFI will not give any advantage to or preclude any organization or individual from any RFP that may be subsequently issued as any/all comments received will be strictly for information gathering purposes only. All responses and response contents to this RFI Special Notice will be considered information only and will not be binding on the parties. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States government. All responses must be submitted electronically via email to the attention of Simone Cho at scho@usaid.gov and Shayn Tierney at stierney@usaid.gov by the deadline stated above on March 17, 2023 at 4:00PM EDT. No proposals will be accepted or considered at this stage. USAID may choose to publish through www.sam.gov feedback or responses to questions submitted in response to this RFI in an anonymized format.
