USAID intends to issue a solicitation for a Personal Services Contract (PSC) for the position Digital Technology and Civic Activism (DTCA) Advisor, GS-14 Grade Equivalent, for USAIDs Development, Democracy and Innovation Bureau (DDI), Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) Center. The DTCA Advisor will provide support to the Washington-based Civil Society and Media Team by being an expert in understanding the impact of digital technologies on civic space, and in fostering open, secure, and inclusive digital ecosystems, and advancing the DRG Center’s efforts to address the gap in knowledge and capacities around Information and Communications Technologies, including social media, and in digital security issues. The duration of the contract period is anticipated to be two (2) year base period with three optional one (1) year periods for a maximum duration of five (5) years.
