PSI provides malaria technical assistance and implements malaria activities in 18 USAID countries and through regional bureaus (LAC and AFR) with Impact Malaria contract 7200AA18C00014 with USAID. This modification gives PSI the time and funds to continue supporting USAID Missions with time-sensitive lifesaving malaria activities to minimize gaps in services. It also allows PSI time to complete critical specialized malaria interventions that were interrupted and delayed due to international and host country COVID-19 restrictions, quarantines, and saftey concerns. This modification extends the period of performance from February 12, 2023 to May 31, 2024 and increases the total estimated cost (TEC) by $40,000,000 from $163,393,540 to $203,393,540. It was determined that compliance with full and open competition procedures would impair foreign assistance objectives, and would be inconsistent with the fulfillment of the foreign assistance program as stated in AIDAR 706.302-70(b)(3)(i).
