The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Investigations (IG/I) requires linguistic transcription, translation, and interpretation services to support ongoing investigations. The office is looking to obtain a qualified Supplier to perform language support services on an as-needed basis under a blanket purchase agreement (BPA). The anticipated period of performance includes a one-year base period and four, one-year, priced, option periods to be exercised unilaterally at the USAID OIG's sole discretion given at least 60 calendar days' written notice to the Supplier. The objective of this BPA is to provide transcription, translation, and interpretation services for initiated and ongoing investigations. To be eligible for award, offeror must be registered in SAM.gov and cannot be debarred, suspended, or proposed for debarment. The solicitation is anticipated for release via SAM.gov on Friday, December 22, 2023 and will remain posted through January 21 2024. The agency proposed solicitation number is 72001G24R00002. International travel will likely be required throughout the course of the contract. The scope of work consists of the following language support services defined as follows: Consecutive interpretation: listening to English or non-English language and orally converting to non-English or English, respectively. In-person Telephonic Video remote Transcription: rendering non-English audio and video recordings into written English. Translation: replacing written, non-English text (i.e., highly technical contracts or legal documents) into equivalent written English documents (translation-transcription) or replacing written, English text (i.e., highly technical contracts or legal documents) into equivalent written non-English documents (translation-transcription). Certified transcripts from professional, certified court reporters to ensure that all spoken words and gestures of a proceeding are recorded to produce an accurate transcript. The list below provides for the frequently common languages to anticipate.
