The USAID/Ethiopia Mission is assessing the need for a Partner Liaison Security Operation (PLSO) to provide a consistent and appropriate level of safety and security support for the Agency’s Implementing Partners (IPs). The PLSO will serve in a coordinating and information sharing role helping to disseminate open source information and promote security best practices. This operation will focus on five key results: 1) Improved security and programmatic related communications between USAID IPs and the Mission 2) Expanded IP capabilities to respond to personnel and programmatic security issues. 3) Improved security-related communications between IPs. 4) Expanded USAID communications with pertinent in-country security-related entities 5) Improved communication on security-related matters between the USAID/Ethiopia Mission and other USAID entities.
