INVITATION TO TENDER Central Tender No.: 20/2022 REHABILITATION OF ZARA MA’IN WATER SYSTEM POST RO TREATMENT BYPASS FACILITIES Dear Sirs, The Government Tenders Department (GTD, The Procurement Entity) invites Tenderers that have been pre-qualified to present their offers for the Rehabilitation of Zara Ma’in Water System, Post RO Treatment Bypass Facilities (“the Project”). Description of Main Items of Work The Zara Ma’in Water System consists of a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) located in the Jordan Valley to the north of the Dead Sea, Pump Station 1 located at the WTP and Pump Stations 2, 3, 4 and 5 located along the Amman to Dead Sea roadway. The Zara Ma’in Water System has been in operation since 2007. The Zara Ma’in Water System delivers treated water to the Governorate of Amman. The project comprises the furnishing and installation of a new redundant Post Reverse Osmosis (RO) Treatment Bypass Facility to be constructed on the Zara Ma’in Water Treatment Plant site in Jordan. This redundant post treatment facility will allow the WTP to remain in operation during the period required for the investigation and repair of the existing post Reverse Osmosis (RO) treatment facility.
