The Information Technology Department servicing United States District Court, Pretrial Services and Probation offices for the Western District of Texas (IT) is comprised of seven divisional offices in Waco, Austin, San Antonio, Del Rio, Midland, Pecos, and El Paso in addition to three satellite locations at Alpine, Temple and Ft. Hood, Texas servicing approximately 765 employees. IT is issuing this request for information (RFI) seeking input from the mobile device industry. Please see the attached file for details on general scope of this request along with questions we are seeking answers to. This is only a Request for Information (RFI) and is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any equipment or service whatsoever. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. A vendor’s response shall be contained in one electronic .pdf document.
