Project Background The U.S. District Court, District of Alaska, requires furniture in the new Magistrate Judges Chambers. The chambers consists 4 office and the furniture will be spread throughout three of those offices. We have a cost limit for this project of $27,000, this includes freight, delivery, and install. Quote Requirements The Court will only be considering quotes that are complete. Complete quotes will consist of the following: • Price Quote to include individual costs per item, freight, delivery, and install • Brochures and pictures of furniture you will be providing. • Samples of materials, such as fabric, laminate, metals, etc. • Drawing of chambers. Furniture Requirements The court is requesting the following furniture to be quoted. We will supply a break down of each room further in this RFQ. (2) Sofas (4) Side Tables (7) Guest Chairs (1) Pantry Closet (1) Stationary Work Surface (1) HAT (1) Open Shelving Unit (2) Ottomans (optional) Please reference the attached examples sheet for examples of the Judges furniture preferences as well as the material requirements. Waiting Area The waiting area will consist of three items: (1) Sofa (1) Chair (1) Side Table The court is requesting that the fabric be in a dark grey or red or a mix of both. The laminate needs to be or match as close to STEELCASE 2422 Medium Cherry. Any metal components need to be in Polished Aluminum. Conference Room The Conference Room will consist of seven items: (1) Sofa (2) Chairs (2) Side Tables (1) Coffee Table (1) Pantry Closet The court is requesting that the fabric be in a dark grey or red or a mix of both. The laminate needs to be or match as close to STEELCASE 2406 Clear Cherry. Any metal components need to be in Polished Aluminum. The pantry closet needs to fit a microwave, a small refrigerator and an area for a coffee machine/pantry storage Judges Office The Judges Office will consist of the following ten items: (1) HAT (1) Worksurface (4) Guest chairs (1) Open shelving unit (1) Side Table (2) Ottomans (optional) The court is requesting that the fabric be in a dark grey or red or a mix of both. The laminate needs to be or match as close to STEELCASE 2406 Clear Cherry. Any metal components need to be in Polished Aluminum. We are also requesting that (2) of the Guest chairs have a taller back. They will be in front of the Judges stationary worksurface.
