These specifications cover the quick-turnaround copying of numerous litigation documents (including hardcopy originals, tab dividers, transparencies, X-ray films, audio/video tape cassettes and CD-ROM discs) on a continuing basis requiring such operations as copy pickup by contractor’s employee in a contractor-owned vehicle, serial (“Bates”) numbering of furnished originals, disassembly and hand-feeding of original documents, electrostatic, thermal or other black-only and four-color process simplex and duplex copying, xerographic “blowbacks” from digital media, digital scanning, OCR conversion, occasional storage/retention of Government documents for third-party reproduction, drilling, provision of legal index exhibit dividers, folders, three-ring binders, reassembly, binding and re-binding, insertion of originals into document protectors, binders or folders, and delivery by contractor’s employee in a contractor-owned vehicle. NOTE: Orders will be placed within a legal environment requiring the secure transportation, handling and reproduction of sensitive evidentiary materials. In order to satisfactorily accommodate the demands of the legal system, the contractor must have sufficient on-site equipment and regularly staffed employees to be able to make as many as five copies of each of as many as 20,000 legal documents of varied size, condition and assembly within a 24-hour period. All contract orders must picked-up and delivered by an employee of the contractor in a contractor-owned vehicle.
