NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) has a requirement for an iHawk system with proprietary RedHawk Linus real-time operating system as well as a Yearly Hardware and Software Maintenance following the stardard warranty. The Brand name Part numbers are as follows: #HQ000-2R30P-41Z20, HQ000-2R30P-42Z20 and a yearly Hardware and Software Maintenance following the standard warranty. NASA/MSFC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the items and services from Concurrent Real-Time Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to aquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to ARTRA.C.THOMPSON@NASA.GOV not later than November 13, 2020 at 4:00 pm central time. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government NASA clause 1852/215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
