DCO did a six-month trial utilizing LinkedIn along with Devex, DevNetJobs, The American Society of Civil Engineers and other platforms. We found that LinkedIn is the only services that allows MCC to get the open positions in front of larger audience of individuals. LinkedIn was the only social network and recruitment platform dictated solely to the development of professional networks and recruitment for employers. They have an international member base of over 300 million which MCC can draw from. They also have an over 130-million-member base located within the United states. Other platforms do not offer the totality of services offered by LinkedIn. LinkedIn is the only professional network that offers MCC the ability to get our positions out to a professional network of both active and passive (not actively searching).
