The new synopsis revises the period of performance to a twelve-month (12) base period plus four (4) one-year option periods for a total contract period of five (5) years and the anticipated solicitation date to November 11, 2020. This synopsis serves as an announcement of the forthcoming acquisition: The U.S. General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Region 7 intends to solicit proposals for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Full Maintenance (FM) services in Houston, Beaumont, and Galveston, Texas. FM services include operations and maintenance, custodial, and grounds maintenance services. Offerors will be expected to provide management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies (shipping & handling) and shall be responsible for the efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair of equipment and systems, custodial, grounds maintenance, and all related services located within the property line of the following locations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561210, Facilities Support Services and the small business size standard is $41.5 million. The period of performance consists of a twelve-month (12) base period plus four (4) one-year option periods for a total contract period of five (5) years to begin on or about February 1, 2021. NOTE: The solicitation will include FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, which would allow the government to extend the period of performance and additional 6 months, if necessary.
