This is a Sources Sought only. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to seek sources that are able to meet the requirement described in within this Sources Sought. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All information received in response to this Sources Sought Notice that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this notice are not offers or quotes and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought Notice. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this Sources Sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The submission of pricing, capabilities for planning purposes, and other market information is highly encouraged and allowed under this Sources Sought In Accordance With (IAW) FAR Part 15.201(e). Please note that these requirements are not finalized and is subject to change based on the responses to this Source Sought. Offerors must possess a valid Landscape Contractors License and a copy shall be submitted with their proposal. SCHEDULE OF SERVICES: PRICE/COST SCHEDULE: Contract Line Item Description Quantity Unit Unit Price Total Price 0001 Refurbish Yardney Sand Media Filer System (Pump Station B) 1 Job $________ $_______ Total Price $_______ GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, services, and supervision to perform landscape irrigation work described herein to improve existing irrigation system at Riverside National Cemetery (RNC), located in Riverside California. Work includes, but not limited to refurbishing the Yardney Sand Media Filter System, which consists of nine (9) filtration tanks located at lake B. Work will be accomplished in accordance with VA requirements, Federal, State, and Local Code requirements. All work will be conducted in such a manner as to minimize the impact on the cemetery operations. Submission of a schedule that minimizes the effect of normal operations on the cemetery shall be approved by the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) and Cemetery Director prior to the start of work. Site work will be accomplished between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30, Monday through Friday; no work will be performed on Federal Holidays. DESCRIPTION/STATEMENT OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS Description: The work in this project includes but is not limited to: Item 1: Refurbish Yardney Sand Media Filtration System Remove and replace sand/gravel/garnet filter media in nine (9) existing Yardney tanks at Lake B. Prewash gravel before placing in tanks. All material removed will be dumped onsite in a location directed by the COR. Treat under drains with muriatic acid. Pressure wash interior of tanks. Replace sacrificial anodes in each tank. Replace manway gaskets.
