The St. Cloud VA Healthcare System is requiring Basic Life Support Services per the attached performance work statement (PWS). This is a sources sought/proof of capability solicitation looking for vendors to perform the services per the PWS for market research purposes. No awards of a contract will be made from this announcement. If you are a vendor that could complete the work described in the PWS, please send your information with a description of proof of capability to: pamela.phillips@va.gov on or before December 22, 2020. Performance Work Statement VHA St. Cloud, MN, 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303 (VHASTC) has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price, base plus 4 option year contract for American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification training for their provider personnel. Specifics for the requirement are as follows: Monthly BLS training classes, not to exceed 16 participants per class Training to be conducted off station at facility provided by the vendor at the vendor s expense Vendor shall supply all materials, equipment and certified instructors necessary to provide the level of certification specified Scheduled dates and times in advance on a one-year period Vendor will train an estimated 250 - 280 participants per year. Training classes to be held between 1200-1630 Monday-Thursday Ability to add additional courses in any given month with a minimum two months notice Vendor shall not charge the government for no shows Vendor shall provide BLS course to single individuals as required by VHASTC VHASTC requires the ability to schedule the individual into existing BLS programs within a two-week time frame Vender shall issue the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification cards electronically to participants within 7 business days Vendor shall provide detailed policy/plan (including cost) for remedial training for any students who do not pass the initial class for which they were enrolled or for students who require multiple attempts at certification. Vendor shall utilize VA Issued Course Roster (Sign in Sheet) at each course and return signed VA issued roster to VHASTC within 7 business days Notification of any course cancellations is required no less than three weeks prior to the scheduled course date.
