This is a Sources Sought publication only. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Please do not submit a proposal or Quote in response to this notice. This notice is to assist the VA in the determination of sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs Nebraska - Western Iowa Health Care System (VA) is hereby seeking potential Contractors to provide on-site Autotransfusion services. The procedures are done on-site at the Omaha VA Medical Center located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105. These services are solely dedicated to Veteran patients of the VA Health Care System. The VA seeks to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (small business, small disadvantaged business, women owned business, veteran owned small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, or a HUBZone, 8(a) business ) relative to NAICS Code 621399, All Other Miscellaneous Health Practitioners with a size standard of $8.5 Million. We are looking for contractors who can provide certified and experienced autotransfusion technicians for on-call (as needed), on-site auto-transfusionist (Intra or Postop Salvage) Services. The Contractor s clinical autotransfusion technicians shall be available for elective cases no later than twenty-four hours after notification and for urgent cases no later than two hours after notification. It is estimated that 20 procedures needing an autotransfusion technician will be performed each year. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions and developing a potential procurement strategy. After review of responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be published in the Contract Opportunities website (beta.sam.gov). Responses to this sources sought notice are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond directly to any corresponding solicitation by submitting a proposal/quote.
