No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Your response to this announcement will be treated as information only. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Responses to this sources sought announcement are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing 20,040 (preferably 120 respirators per box) R95 disposable respirators (3M R95/8247 or equivalent) and/or N95 respirators (3M 8000/3M 8210/3M 9205+ or equivalent) to the Northern CA Healthcare System, 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655. Items will be FOB Destination and should be delivered within 60 days ARO. Vendor must be able to provide documentation showing they are an authorized distributor of the items. Salient characteristics of required R95/N95 disposable respirators: NIOSH-approved R95/N95 disposable respirator Lightweight, disposable, nuisance level organic vapor relief Adjustable noseclip and soft nose foam to allow a custom fit with secure seal and reduction in potential for eyewear fogging Response: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, on hand quantity, and estimated delivery time frame for the items listed above. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, DUNS number, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number with the subject line VA R95 Disposable Respirators . All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov), and Representations and Certifications must be completed prior to any future award. Any offeror capable of providing this service shall notify the Contracting Officer by e-mail by August 27, 2020 at 5PM PST. The NAICS Code is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees. If your firm is an SDVOSB, it must be registered with VETBIZ.
