SALIENT CHARACTARISTICS NXADD-22-112-EYE19_IC200_TONOMETER_AL NEEDS: Must be non-aerosolizing. Must provide accurate measurements in multiple patient positions to accommodate patients with physical limitations. Must not require on-site sterilization & reuse or transport to a different facility for sterilization of those parts which come into contact with the patient (those parts must be disposable). Must be compatible with equipment requirements for Tele-eye screening program. At this time the only tonometer approved for use in the tele-eye screening program is the iCare. The C&A requirements do not apply. A Security Accreditation Package is not required. CLEANING REQUIREMENTS: PDI s Sani-Cloth Plus, Sani-Cloth Bleach, Super Sani-Cloth and Sani-Cloth Prime wipes can be used to clean the outer surfaces like the handle of the Icare tonometers. Follow the PDI s product labels as to effective wipe time and drying. Do not use Sani-Cloth AF3 wipes for any Icare tonometer surfaces. Do not use any wipes for cleaning the probe base (the brass tube where the probe is loaded).
