The singular purpose of this notice is to obtain information on Small Business interest, capabilities and qualifications to determine if a set-aside is appropriate. Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Dayton VA Medical Center has a requirement for Endodry Drying Storage Cabinets. This is a brand name only. The information obtained through this notice will be utilized exclusively as market research for acquisition planning purposes. All work to be performed will be within North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. In order to be eligible to respond as an SDVOSB or VOSB, a firm must be registered in Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert). This system is used in conjunction with existing high-level disinfection (HLD) AER scope system. The equipment will support the turnaround timeframe for procedural GI scopes after reprocessing in the Medivator Advantage Plus AER. Provides a controlled environment for the drying and storage of endoscopes after a successful reprocessing cycle Assists with the endoscope drying process in as little as one hour for the internal channels and three hours for the external portion For use with the ADVANTAGE PLUS AER and cassette to minimize handling After processing in an ADVANTAGE PLUS AER, the endoscope is transferred to the ENDODRY Drying & Storage System in its cassette, then uses external instrument grade compressed air to aid in the amount of time needed for the drying process of a flexible endoscope. Assists with the endoscope drying process in as little as one hour for the internal channels and three hours for the external endoscope surfaces. The cassette then maintains the status of a patient-ready endoscope for up to 31 days Provides a controlled environment for the drying and storage of endoscopes after a successful reprocessing cycle Pairs with the ADVANTAGE PLUS Automated Endoscope Reprocessor to facilitate data transfer between the two devices With SMART Connect in place, the ENDODRY Cabinet alerts users that the endoscope has not completed a successful HLD cycle in the AER. Additionally, it won t allow the endoscope to enter the ENDODRY Cabinet if the endoscope has been removed from the AER without entry into the cabinet for over an hour.
