In accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research, this is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability of potential sources/vendors having the skills and capabilities necessary to provide Emergency Shelter Services (Health Care to Homeless Veterans (HCHV)) for the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw VAMC. The Saginaw VAMC has a need for emergency shelter services in and around Traverse City, Michigan for homeless Veterans, who are on the Michigan Criminal Sexual Offender Registry, and place them in community-based, residential environments with sufficient services to support their rehabilitation goals. The government is interested in sources that can provide 6 Veteran beds 365 days a year. The period of performance is 12 months from the date of Award, plus four 12-month option periods. The proposed NAICS Code is 624221, Temporary Shelter ($12 Million). All interested contractors are invited to respond as this information may be used to determine potential set asides for the above noted services. This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow up information.
