THIS IS A PRESOLICITAION NOTICE ONLY. The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 08 intends to award a sole source contract to Brainlab, Incorporated, 5 Westbrook Corporate Center, Ste 1000, Westchester, IL 60154 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1). This proposed contract action is for the procurement of a service agreement for the Brainlab ExacTrac X-Ray System located at the Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC). A task order will be issued against the VA National Acquisition Center contract number 36H797245D0004. The period of performance will be date of award through 09/04/2025. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this presolicitation notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. No sub-contracting opportunity is anticipated. Responses to this presolicitation notice should demonstrate the firm's capability and responsibility to provide the service agreement. Any offeror capable of providing this service must provide written documentation from Brainlab Inc. authorizing your firm as a distributer for providing the service agreement for the Brainlab ExacTrac X-Ray system. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management to receive any future contract award. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334517 Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing, size standard is 1200 employees.
