DESCRIPTION: The North Florida/South Georgia (NF/SG) Veterans Healthcare System, Gainesville VAMC, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL, 32608 intends to award on a Sole Source basis for the Spectra M5 Plate Reader Maintenance Services located in the Research Department. The proposed source is Molecular Devices, 1311 Orleans Drive Sunnyvale, Ca. 94086 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK: Molecular Devices is the only source of spare or replacement parts and software for this instrument. TERM: This will be a firm fixed price contract for a base of one-year and 2 one-year option periods. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. The proposed NAICS 811219 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $22.0 million. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature to the Contracting Officer no later than 10/21/2022 at 12:00 PM EST. Responses should be sent to shirley.courtney@va.gov.
