This Pre-Solicitation is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a need for Ultrasound Examination Tables at the Salem VA Medical Center. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing) with a size standard of 800 employees. This requirement will be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside and only SBA registered vendors should submit offers. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price type contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 30 May, 2024, via Contract Opportunities (SAM) website via SAM.gov. All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the SAM.GOV website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
