The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA has a requirement for Project 693-19-109 Replace Retaining Wall. The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, providing Engineering services and construction services, all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, and reports required for constructing a new stone wall in the courtyard located at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Facility. The existing stone wall is 180ft long, its highest point 15ft and 24in wide on top of the wall. 15 steps are incorporated from the bottom to the top of the wall. One side of the wall is earth fill retained and has a 20ft wide bituminous roadway. The magnitude of this VA construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Period of Performance will be approximately 180 calendar days after issuance of a Notice to Proceed. All work on this project shall be accomplished between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm shall be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: www.sam.gov and www.vetbiz.gov Offerors shall ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the small business size standard is $39.5 Million, A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation.
