THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a MARKET RESEARCH SURVEY to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified large business sources (2) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (3) whether they are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Small Business, HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concern, (4) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition, and (6) current market price. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The NAICS code is 811310 DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: Seeking firms that can provide 180 hours per year of janitorial equipment maintenance and repair service. Service dates to be scheduled in advance in 4 to 8 hour blocks. We are seeking one year base plus four option years. The awardee will be required to repair and perform preventive maintenance on: a) Burnishers b) Auto scrubbers c) Carpet extractors d) Vacuum cleaners e) Wet dry vacuums f) Buffers g) Floor dryers h) Battery chargers As well, you must have the ability to purchase OEM parts from the following (parts will be purchased as needed separately from this contract): a) Advance b) Windsor c) Clarke d) Nobles e) Tennant f) Nilfisk g) Taski POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., SB/SDVOSB/large) and DUNS Number. 2) Responses must be emailed to joseph.cellino@va.gov and must reference RFI# VA242-17-N-0285 3) The deadline for responses to this notice is 3:00pm.
