GENERAL GUIDANCE Title of Project: Molecular manipulation to enhance anti-myeloma response (Dr. Munshi, VA merit). Scope of Work: The Contractor will provide all components. No need for set-up. Background: We request an Ins Cytospin 4 which will allow us to stably record the activity of specific groups of immune cells in tumor microenvironment with their special distribution. This will help us to understand the role of these immune cells in controlling tumor cell progression and lay the groundwork for new treatments for multiple myeloma. Performance Period: Date of award good until after the PO is created and the device is delivered. Type of Contract: FIRM FIXED PRICE B. CONTRACT AWARD MEETING No contract award meeting will be necessary. C. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS VENDOR will ship the system. This instrument can be housed within the laboratory D. SPECIFIC MANDATORY TASKS AND ASSOCIATED DELIVERABLES Shipment and delivery of instrument- system components will be delivered to the laboratory. E. EVALUATED OPTIONAL FEATURE No need for contractor set-up on site F. SCHEDULE FOR DELIVERABLES The Contractor will deliver the requested system when they have received a PO from contracting. G. CHANGES TO THE STATEMENT OF WORK The process for making changes to the SOW is presented in this section. Making changes by any other means may require ratification of an unauthorized action requiring the approval. H. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS The system will be received by the VABHS Dr. Nikhil Munshi/Dr. Rao Prabhala I. TRAVEL No extra travel is anticipated under this contract. J. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES No extra space or effort is required from the West Roxbury facility. K. CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Qualifications of Key Personnel: The Contractor shall be familiar with all packaging and shipping for safe delivery to Dr. Rao Prabhala at the West Roxbury campus of the VA Boston Healthcare Systems.
