SOLICITATION FOR THE ACQUISITION OF FPS MAIN BEARINGS FOR THE CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE ANFPS-20 (AIR NAVIGATION FIXED POSITION SYSTEM) RADAR AS CURRENTLY DEPLOYED BY THE FAA. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the acquisition of the following: FPS MAIN BEARINGS Qty - 5 Units NSN - 3110-00-338-2272 o Bearing shall be 4-point contact ball bearing as per Goodyear drawing 185N114, current revision, or o Roller-type bearing as per FAA Drawing DE-B-2120, Rev G Delivery Requirements: Unit 1 delivery: 90 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Unit 2 delivery: 30 days after Unit 1 delivery Unit 3 delivery: 30 days after Unit 2 delivery Unit 4 delivery: 30 days after Unit 3 delivery Unit 5 delivery: 30 days after Unit 4 delivery The FAA’s desire and intent is to pursue a competitive award resulting in a single purchase order based on the lowest total sum of all items and meet all the specifications in the Statement of Work (SOW), and the current revision of the 4-point contact ball bearing as per Goodyear drawing 185N114 or the attached drawing titled FPS Pedestal Main Bearing DE-B-2120-Rev G. The RFQ, SOW, and FAA drawings are attached to this announcement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and size standards for this effort: NAICS – 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, Size Standard – 500 Employees Interested firms are required to submit a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. The FAA requires interested vendors to address the requirements in the attached RFQ, sign, date, and return by 4:00 p.m. Central Time (Oklahoma Time) on April 21, 2021.
