INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: PICARRO WATER ISOTOPE ANALYZER WARM BOX ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT The USGS St Petersburg Coastal & Marine Science Center in St Petersburg, Florida intends to make a non-competitive award to Picarro, Inc. to replace a Warm Box Assembly for their Picarro Model L2130i Water Isotope Analyzer. The delivery date is: 9/30/2024 DESCRIPTION: Picarro Model L2130i Water Isotope Analyzer utilizes a patented wavelength monitor within the Warm Box that provides highly accurate control and measurement of the system¿s wavelength (to 2MHz) to ensure the highest confidence in its data even during changes in ambient pressure (to 0.024 Torr/0.003% atm). This is an urgent requirement because a functional Warm Box is required to ensure that the data produced can pass the established QA/QC requirements. JUSTIFICATION: Picarro Inc. services are required to provide a new Warm Box Assembly on the Picarro Model L2130i Water Isotope Analyzer. Picarro, Inc utilizes patented equipment and proprietary technical capabilities which precludes non-Picarro sources from repairing their instruments. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a quotation no later than 09/03/2024. However, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
