The requirement is to provide a total of 20 days of event services at the Tangier American Legation during the performance period. These services should include space, staffing, logistical support, A/V support, and refreshments for each requested day of event services. Events should have a capacity of a minimum of 30 participants. The Public Affairs section is responsible for organizing the content, speakers, or other programmatic direction for each event. As we seek to support White House directives to leverage the 250th anniversary of American independence to promote American excellence and position the U.S. as the partner of choice amid global competition, Morocco holds a unique status as the first country to recognize U.S. independence. The Tangier American Legation is a unique physical embodiment of this history and is a core part of the Mission strategy to carry out the Administration's policy objectives. The Legation is the oldest U.S. diplomatic facility in the world and the only property on the U.S. register of historic places that is located overseas. This makes it a uniquely appropriate venue for Mission activities within the America250 campaign. TALIM has been designated by the U.S. government to manage the site including activities, making it the solely available source to respond to this acquisition.
