The Embassy of the United States of America has a requirement for daily food services with a firm fixed monthly price for a period of 12 months, starting on or about 01 April 2024 and with one option year. •Contractor will be responsible for providing individually packed lunch and dinner meals for seven people per day (98 meals per week). •Contractor will use own discretion on when to transport meals to the residence in Helsinki. •Contractor will utilize its own operation hours for preparation, packaging, and delivery of food to ensure that (1) lunch and (1) dinner meal is provided daily for seven people. •Contractor is encouraged to transport multiple days meals every trip to minimize daily transportation of meals. Contractor will utilize its own facilities for the preparation and packaging of food and delivery to the residence. Contractor will be responsible for removing used food containers and any uneaten meals from the residence and disposing of them at contractor facilities during meal deliveries. The Contractor shall establish 20-day menus that reflect meals variety consistent with the varied cultural, religious, and health dietary requirements. Menu items shall be fresh, prepared offsite, healthy, modern, and authentic to the maximum extent practicable. Contractor shall utilize accepted cooking standards for food preparation and develop program specific standards to ensure consistency in preparation across the program. Contractor shall develop standards or recipe cards for items determined to be customer favorites. Cooking standards and recipes shall be available to the Contracting Officers Representative and included as part of program quality assurance program. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
