The US Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division, Finance Staff (JMDFS) , intends to award on a single source basis Third Party Payment Services with the Bank of New York Mellon Treasury Services (Mellon Bank) for the period October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021. The listing of services being procured is found on the attached 3rd Party Payment Services Listing and DOJ 3rd Party Payments Service Code. The Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Offices, Boards and Divisions possess a significant amount of Mellon Bank third party draft stock for these types of payments. DOJ has determined that as the number of drafts being processed diminishes due to companies moving to EFT payments, the costs of implementing these services with a new bank at this time would be time consuming and costly for all parties. The Department will re-evaluate its options during Fiscal Year 2021.
