The following scope and work is being requested by the FCI for the Chiller-1 located at the Powerhouse Building N. This will be a complete rebuild of the Chiller Motor York Variable Speed Drive MaxE Centrifugal Chiller (500 ton). The model of the motor is VSD503k-46. Replacement of the Chiller Unit will not be considered. Recover refrigerant in accordance with EPA standards and Texas State code into rental recovery cylinder. Contractor will provide all recovery gauges and related equipment. Refrigerant will be returned to chiller at conclusion of repairs. Replace shaft seal, PRV position sensor, liquid level sensor, oil heater, and control board. Recharge system with new 134A and recovered 134A refrigerant, at customer's request. Recharge new oil into system to manufacturer specifications. Test and make sure system is operating correctly and report any deficiencies to Facility Manager and correct. Ensure work area is kept clean and free of debris. Contractor will provide detailed report to Facility Manager concerning refrigerant recovered and any refrigerant loss so that it can be reported to TCEQ if necessary. Perform necessary Lock Out and Tag Out procedures as needed following Bureau of Prisons guidelines. All employees of the contractor will provide a NCIC check along with a Residency Requirement Form. The contractor will provide payroll records to ensure compliance with Live Oak County Wage Grades.
