The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division (FPSAD) is seeking information regarding potential HUBZone or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) small businesses (under NAICS 561612) that can provide armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at federally leased or owned facilities in the Washington DC metropolitan area (Washington DC, Virginia and/or Maryland). Vendors shall be currently registered with the System of Award Management (SAM.gov) website. In order to be considered responsive to this sources sought notice, potential HUBZone and/or SDVO small business concerns must demonstrate the following information in their response: Company name; a point of contact with phone number and email address; and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number Performed armed security officer services within the last 3 years that were at least 40K hours per year. Please provide specifics in relation to your past performance Whether or not the company is currently licensed to perform these types of services within the state of Virginia, Maryland or in Washington DC The level of facility clearance currently possessed by the respondent contractor THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFP/RFQ in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, FPS is not at this time seeking proposals/quotations and will not accept unsolicited proposals/quotations. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to the RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ, if any is issued. This RFI is only intended for the Government to identify sources that can provide the needed services to fulfill the Government's statement of objectives. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. The Government has not made a commitment to procure any of the RFI requirements discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Interested parties are directed to respond to this RFI and provide a response on its capabilities which shall be made via email. Responses are due no later than 3:30 pm EST on October 29, 2021.
