DATE REQUIRED 21NOV20 PLACE OF PEFORMANCE VALLEJO, CA The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, National Security Cutters Branch 2, ALAMEDA, CA anticipates awarding this procurement to ADRICK MARINE GROUP. To provide OEM technicians to investigate and repair the problems that are being experienced with the AC units: Part/Services List: Scope of Work: CGC Healy AC Lag Compressor Inspection and Repair POP Primary: 1Dec20 – 4Dec20 POP Secondary: 8Dec20 – 11Dec20 Location: Mare Island Dry Dock Background: Healy is experiencing issues with the AC Lag compressor. This issue is prevent the unit from working as designed. Summary: CTR to conduct thorough inspection with Senior Coast Guard Technicians. The work will consist of internal and external inspections, and instillation of the rocker arm assembly. Statement of Work: CTR will provide the following: CTR will provide all tools (i.e diagnostic software, borescope, etc.) deemed necessary to complete thorough inspection. Conduct thorough external and internal inspection of the failed and new rocker arm assembly CTR will report finding of inspection via CFR to USCG. In the CFR CTR will make recommendations for cause of system failure. CTR will assist the crew in the installation of the replacement rocker arm assembly. Supply final trip report to include: tech hours, inspection findings, and repairs made A CFR must be submitted and approved by KO if any additional costs, hours, or parts are required by OEM Tech. Required Parts from Contractor: N/A Gov. Furnished Equipment: N/A This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC HEALY. Vendor will provide the part/supply stated in the solicitation description. NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 Pacific Time, NOV 21, 2020 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
