The purpose of this action is to provide the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) notice of intent to issue a Sole Source Bridge Contract Modification to PAE Aviation and Technical Services under Contract 70B02C20C00000041 to extend aircraft maintenance and logistics support services due to a filed protest against the recently awarded National Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Services (NAMLS) contract. This Modification will allow a continuation of vital services until protest is adjudicated. The Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Support Services are essential to ensure that CBP Air and Marine Operations (AMO) has the numbers, types, and properly configured aircraft available where and when required to meet law enforcement and national security aviation operational commitments. The anticipated contract period will be up to a 6-month period (two three-month option periods) from April 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. The redacted Justification and Approval will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305(a).
