The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has awarded a sole source time and material delivery order off of GSA Schedule to Booz Allen Hamilton. In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to work previously developed by Booz Allen Hamilton. The effort consists of one Virtual Reality (VR) Mine Rescue Software package that will be a standalone program with an installer package that will launch a user-friendly interface allowing the user to customize their mine rescue training experience. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR Subpart 8.4.
