A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The Department of Laboratory Medicine serves as the clinical laboratory of the NIH Clinical Center. It provides laboratory support for patient care and research protocols and performs research and training in disciplines of Clinical Pathology. In doing so it provides state-of-the-art laboratory testing in support of Clinical Center patient care and serves as a center of excellence in research and training in laboratory medicine, particularly in areas which utilize the unique st The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC),Department Laboratory Medicine, (DLM) intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price for Bio-Rad Technologies D10 HgbA1c Analyzer with Bio-rad Technologies The objective of this Statement of Work is to provide the Clinical Center, Department of Laboratory Medicine with the equipment: D-10 HbA1c, reagent supplies and maintenance for 60 months for Hgb A1C testing. Scope of Work The Department of Laboratory Medicine’s Hematology Service has been using the D-10 for diabetic screening (A1c) for 6 years. Agreement Details and Terms The term of the agreement shall be 4 years (Base year + 3 option years) 8/1/21-8/1/25. Payment will be made monthly based on reportable tests: reagent cost. Combined volumes/pricing: 334 tests per month/$4.30 cost per reportable/$1,436.20 per month/$17,234.40 per year Minimum Specifications: Walkaway capacity Fully automated No interference from Hb S, Hb C, Hb D, or Hb E Barcode reader Cap Piercing HPLC methodology Interface availability This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
