This contract provides for annual updates of the NEISS-AIP data, 2013-2017and NEISS-FISS, 2013-2017 data and associated documentation to be archived and managed by a Contractor. Data are sent via email as a SAS data set. These data will be added to NEISS-AIP 2000-2012 and NEISS-FISS 1993-2012 data that are archived with the Contractor. CDC will review the public use data files for the Contractor, who will then prepare public use data files in different formats (e.g., SAS, SPSS, STATA, ASCII) along with associated documentation (e.g., codebooks, background documents, and summary data tables) and makes them available for free download by social and public health researchers. The proposed contract modification will provide two additional years to be included for archiving, resulting in a period of 2013-2019 for both NEISS-AIP and NEISS-FISS data.
