The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to AB SCIEX LLC for the purchase of Total Service Coverage for two P/ACE MDQ Plus systems. The anticipated period of performance is 09/01/2025 through 8/31/2026 and will include four one-year option periods. The maintenance shall be provided by an AB SCIEX authorized maintenance provider and any replacement parts shall be OEM parts. This contract action is for AB SCIEX Total Service Coverage for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The Total Service Coverage must provide the following services, for the following instruments: 1. On-site service visits with a maximum 48-hour response, 2. unlimited parts for any service, 3. engineer labor and travel, 4. priority status for technical support inquiries, and 5. one scheduled preventative maintenance visit. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Therefore, all responses should demonstrate clear evidence of their capability to satisfy the requirement.
