This modification W91YTZ21R0061 MOD 1 will provide an updated Combined Synopsis/Solicitation that will: 1) Remove Comtract Line Items (CLINs) for Zika Testing. 2) Update language in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Section 1.2.6.3.2- the additional language is in red 3) Update language in ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1-Language update is in red 4) Included Attachement 1-Questions and Answers for Combined Synopsis/Solicitation W91YTZ21R0061 PLEASE REVIEW BOTH DOCUMENTS This is a nonpersonal services contract to provide blood donor testing services and blood bank reference lab testingThis is a nonpersonal services contract to provide blood donor testing services and blood bank reference lab testing. The Contractor shall provide all required facilities, personnel, services, transportation, materials, equipment, and supplies required to provide blood donor testing services in support of the U.S. Army. All tests shall be executed at the Contractor's premises, or within the Contractor's network of laboratories (affiliate or qualified subcontractor). All testing shall be in accordance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations for the manufacturing of transfusable blood products and for blood bank reference lab testing. The standard test panel shall include at least: ABO/Rh, Antibody Screen, Antibody Identification , STS, HBsAg, HBcAb, HCV, HIV 1 and 2, HTLV I/II, Chagas/T.cruzi, and Cytommegalovirus (for Apheresis platelet and plasma testing). The Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) panel shall include at least: WNV NAT, HIV NAT, HCV NAT, and HBV NAT (see Section 2.2 for explanation of acronyms). The confirmatory testing shall consist of individually run tests: HBsAg Neutralization, HCV confirmatory, HBV confirmatory, HIV 1 and HIV 2 confirmatory, HTLV I/II confirmatory, Chagas confirmatory and Syphilis (TP-PA) confirmatory. All tests included in the standard blood donor testing and confirmation testing required by the Kendrick Memorial Blood Center, DDEAMC, Fort Gordon, Georgia (will be performed IAW Code of Federal Regulation, Title 21 (CFR) and applicable industrial standards).
