The services consist of the Contractor furnishing all labor, materials, barges, and equipment necessary to transport the equipment listed below from Louisville, KY to Pittsburgh, PA by river. Government will load and unload all equipment at both locations onto a barge. Equipment to be transported: One (1) each Strut Nominal Dimensions: 6’ wide x 6’ tall x 110’ long Weight: 80,000lbs Two (2) each Hanger Assemblies Nominal Dimensions: 8’ x 5’ x 25’ Weight: 6,000lbs each Four (4) to Seven (7) each Shim Plates Nominal Dimensions: Each plate is 6’ x 6’ with thickness of ¼”, ½” or 1" The total thickness of all shims will be 4”, but the quantity of each size may vary. Weight: Total weight of all shims is 5,900lbs.
