This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this Request for Information. Response to this Sources Sought is for market research purposes. As of now, this will be a Small Business set-aside but if there is an abundance of interest from a specific socioeconomic category, changes may occur. Requirement: The Contractor shall repair and replace part of the Nashville Area Office’s domestic water supply system that was damaged by the December 2023 tornado. Remove the existing 4" backflow preventers and associated valves, accessories and piping and replace "in-kind" with a new, full-size single 4" backflow preventer with associated valves, accessories, and piping. Replace the missing enclosure/"hot box" protecting the piping and covering the pit and make necessary repairs to the walls of the valve pit. The Scope of Work is still being developed and more details will be released within the Solicitation.
