PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for the fabrication and delivery of one (1) bulkhead for Wilson Lock with the inclusion of 3 options of identical bulkheads. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. The Scope of Work for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price commercial supply contract. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, and equipment to fabricate and deliver one (1) bulkhead with the plans and specifications provided. PLACE OF DELIVERY: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilson Lock Attn: Sterling Riether 704 S Wilson Dam Road Florence, AL 35630 DELIVERY DATE: Base Bid: 210 Calendar Days, Option 1: additional 90 calendar days after option is awarded, Option 2: additional 90 calendar days after option is awarded, Option 3: : additional 90 calendar days after option is awarded.
