Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-ALC) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Struers, Inc., of Westlake, Ohio 44145-2525 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available. The requirement is for preventative maintenance (PM) on the Metal Processing Lab Equipment: Exotom-150, Tegramin-30, Tegramin-30, Accutom-5, and CitoPress-20 with associated component sub-assemblies. The requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The RFQ number for this requirement is W912NW-21-Q-0002 and attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Circulars Defense Acquisition are included in the attached RFQ. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 and has a size stand of $22M. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
