In order to be eligible for award, offeror must be party to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA), solicitation W912ES21R0008, as posted on https://www.SAM.gov/. If the offeror is not already party to the agreement, they shall submit a proposal with their offer with the information requested in Solicitation W912ES21R0008. Note: All terms and conditions of the MSRA solicitaition will apply to any order issued off of this RFQ. The contractor will transport Barge 779 from, and return the barge to Lock & Dam after completion. Contractor shall raise the barge to dry dock and clean the hull by water blasting. After cleaning, the Contractor shall visually inspect the hull plating and structural members. Hull condition shall also be surveyed by ultrasonic testing on a 2 ft grid pattern. After inspections and repairs, Contractor shall paint the outside of barge, with one coat primer and one-coat marine epoxy. NOTE: Any additional work identified through the course of this contract must be approved by the contracting officer, with a submitted quote. A modification will then be done for the priced quote for additional repairs. This needs to be done before work can begin. Work shall be completed, and barge returned to Lock & Dam 7 by 30 April 2022.
