The Contractor shall provide a (3) three-person rope access inspection team, which will work with USACE personnel as a joint team in order to perform the following tasks: Perform a combined routine and Fracture Critical Member (FCM) inspection of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) lock and dam service bridges over the Mississippi River at: Lock and Dam 3 Service Bridge located near Red Wing, Minnesota. (Approximate length of bridge is 427 feet, Number of Spans: 4-Roller Gates, 0-Tainter Gates, and 3 Storage Yard) Lock and Dam 4 Service Bridge located near Alma, Wisconsin. (Approximate length of bridge is 1,627 feet, Number of Spans: 6-Roller Gates, 22-Tainter Gates, and 9 Storage Yard ) Lock and Dam 4 Pedestrian Bridge located near Alma, Wisconsin. (Approximate length of bridge is 125 feet, Number of Spans: 1) Lock and Dam 5 Service Bridge located near Minneiska, Minnesota. (Approximate length of bridge is 1,879 feet, Number of Spans: 6-Roller Gates, 28-Tainter Gates, and 9 Storage Yard) Perform FCM/Routine inspection of four (4) tainter gates: A Fracture Critical Member and Routine Inspection shall be conducted on two (2) tainter gates at LD 4, and two (2) tainter gates at LD 5. Government personnel will be on-site and able to assist the contractor by operating the tainter gates. The gates will be completely raised out of the water for the purpose of conducting the inspection. The tainter gates at LD 4 and 5 are 35 feet wide.
