The solicitation will be posted on or around May 12, 2021 under solicitation number W912DQ21Q1032. ************************************************************** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for Construction Services for the Boring Marsh of the Swans Water Supply Line located at Melvern Lake, KS. The RFQ will result in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) construction contract. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to: The requirement is to install a new underground pipe and PVC water supply line from the Outlet Park to Marsh of the Swans located at Melvern Lake, KS. The objective is to provide controlled water capacity to different cells with the Marsh of the Swans. This is project will be advertised as 100% Small Business set-aside. At this time, no Pre-Solicitation Conference is planned for this solicitation. If the government does elect to hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference, the pre-solicitation announcement will be modified accordingly. In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between: $25,000 and $100,000.00. There will be an organized site visit is planned for this solicitation. Details of any planed site-visit will be included in the solicitation. If there is any change to the scheduled site visit, the correct time and location will be included in the solicitation, or amendments as applicable. If the price schedule is changed to include options prior to the release of the solicitation, the pre-solicitation announcement will be modified. If the price schedule is changed to include options after release of the solicitation, the solicitation will be amended accordingly. The estimated performance period for completion of construction is 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). No Bid Bonds will be required for this procurement. This procurement is a competitive Small Business set-aside utilizing the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 237110 – Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction.
