The Mission Installation Contracting Command Contracting Center – Fort Sam Houston (MICC-FSH) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having interest and industry technologies available to support/provide maintenance and repair services for Military Family Housing (as identified in the attached draft Performance Work Statement). As such, the Government encourages SBA certified socio-economic group sources to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. This effort is currently in the 8(a) program and will remain in this program. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns) to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. If a potential small business vendor believes they can provide the required services as identified in the draft Performance Work Statement, but under a different NAICS code, please feel free to respond to this Sources Sought document and identify the appropriate NAICS code and why you believe it is appropriate. Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Contracting Center – Fort Sam Houston (FSH) is seeking a vendor that shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform maintenance and repair services in order to maintain clean, safe, livable conditions for Military Family Housing (MFH), as defined in the PWS. The Contractor shall perform in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of the contract and consistently with the established standards in the PWS and contract. There are three locations where the maintenance and repair services will include – Fort Myer, Fort McNair and Arlington National Cemetery. The projected period of performance for this requirement will consist of a base period of twelve (12) months and two (2) option years.
